Bruce Peninsula & Georgian Bay, Ontario

Limestone cliffs, clear turquoise water and a ferry to Manitoulin Island.

The Bruce Peninsula juts into Lake Huron and Georgian Bay with limestone cliffs, the Grotto and turquoise shallows. It is easy to reach from southern Ontario and busy all summer. Tobermory at the tip is also the terminal for the Chi-Cheemaun ferry to Manitoulin Island.

  • Parks Canada may require reservations for parking or entry at popular spots during peak season — check before you go.
  • Book the Manitoulin ferry as early as you can if you are travelling with an RV.
